Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Absurd Core N' More

    The Focus is Core, but you will get so much more!! Each week is a uniquely designed routine to strengthen your core while getting a total body workout. A variety of equipment will be used as well as your own body weight. Emphasis will be placed on proper form all throughout in order to maximize benefits from the workout. Join this class to challenge your total body and learn the move to focus in on your core, to build strength, core stability, lean muscle tone & balance. All fitness levels will benefit from this Absurd mix of cardio (low & high intensity), strength and core work!


Ai Chi

    This water-based total body strengthening class combines Tai-Chi and Qigong concepts with Watsu techniques. It is performed in shoulder depth, warm water using a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of the arm, legs and torso. Ai Chi increases oxygen and caloric consumption, assists with increased range of motion, increases blood flow to joints, tendons and muscles as well as induces a deep state of relaxation perfect for minimizing stress, anxiety and depression. 

      If you are a new participant, please arrive 15 minutes early for instruction and demo.

    Arthritis Aqua

    This warm-water class is designed for individuals with mobility challenges such as arthritis, surgery or joint issues. The class consists of exercise emphasizing range of motion, balance, and mild strengthening exercises. (A physician’s referral is required to participate in this class.)

    Arthritis Exercise

    Low-impact, joint-safe exercise program that helps decrease arthritis pain, relieve stiffness, and improve balance. Led by Arthritis Foundation-certified instructors.

    Body Blast

    A 50 minute class focused on short cardio drills interspersed with strength-building exercises primarily using body weight. The class tones your entire body while torching calories.

    Body Works

    Work every major muscle group in the body using lighter weights with shorter transition times to keep moving. This is a great class to increase bone density, strengthen muscles for good posture and core stability, while increasing balance and flexibility. Designed for all fitness levels. No jumping or high impact movement.

    Booty & Core

      This class is designed to strengthen and tone the leg, glutes, and core muscles through a variety of exercises involving body weight, resistance tubes, stability balls, Bender balls and more!

    Cardio Kickboxing

    This high-energy cardio class will keep you challenged and have you sweating and burning major calories.  You will have 50 minutes of non-stop cardio, which is adaptable to all fitness levels.  Get ready to work hard and have fun!



    Circuit Sampler

      Come check out this unique group fitness class! An experienced instructor will lead you through a different custom workout each week utilizing various cardio equipment and their different programs along with various exercises using free weights and weight machines for a full body workout.

    Core Mix

      This 40-minute class will work on strength and stability of all your core muscles. For all fitness levels.


    Stationary cycling in a group fitness setting. This biking challenge will push its riders to their limits and beyond! This class is easily adaptable for all fitness levels.


    This class design integrates fluid strength training techniques with high intensity Cycle to create a total body workout. Your heart will be challenged in blocked intervals, with top-to-bottom muscle conditioning in between. Shake up your weekly routine with this challenging cross-training option!

    Deep-Water Workout

    This class is a deep-water workout suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. It’s designed to challenge both the cardiovascular and muscular systems with emphasis on the core. A buoyancy belt is worn to suspend in a neutral position freeing the hands and legs to perform large movements against the resistance of the water.

    Foam Roll, Stretch, & Go!

    Stretching is a vital part of any exercise routine as it gives your muscles the ability to lengthen, to expand and restore after exercise. Plus, it feels good!

    Functional Fitness

      Train your muscles with exercises that will help you do everyday activities safely and efficiently. A variety of equipment will be used with exercises that will combine various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time as well as placing emphasis on the core.

    GlideFit H.I.I.T.

    Take your cross-training to the next level with this High Intensity Interval Training class - set in the pool. We’ve combined cardio moves and strength training to create this fun, yet challenging, class based on the principle of aquatic stability training. 

    GlideFit Yoga

    Practicing yoga on the GlideFit float requires your full attention - mind, body and soul - to move from one posture to the next, while maintaining your balance. The practice will build gradually and then return you to your Savasana.


      This High Energy Athletic Training (HEAT) class will give you a total body workout combining strength and endurance through a combination of calisthenics, core work, interval training, plyometric exercises and partner drills. This circuit-style class will use minimal equipment and bring different challenges each week!

    HIGH Fitness

      This fun fitness class incorporates aerobic interval training with music you love and intense easy to follow fitness choreography. It combines FUN with INTENSITY and CONSISTENCY. The result is high caloric burn and fun toning for all fitness levels.


    Mid- to high-intensity aerobics for 40 to 50 minutes is the main focus. Strengthening and toning exercises are emphasized during the last 15–20 minute segment of the class.

    LIIT (Low Impact Interval Training)

      This class is designed to build strength, add definition, and decrease your body fat by building lean muscle with using all low impact moves (no jumping involved!). A variety of equipment including dumbbells, resistance tubes, medicine balls, and more will help change your body competition. This class welcomes all fitness levels and modifications will be given.

    Muscle +

    Strengthen and sculpt with this variety muscle conditioning class. Weights, tubes, bands and balls are utilized to challenge your upper and lower body while simultaneously working your core. All levels are encouraged to participate.


    Exercises using your own body weight to strengthen and stretch the core muscle groups (abdominals, lower back, buttocks). Pilates increases abdominal strength, improves posture, and body mechanics. It also reduces joint and lower back stress. Class design is for all fitness levels.

    Power Pilates

      A fun workout using a variety of equipment including dumbbells, glider disks, and more. Students will be using Pilates breath to help them on core engagement while challenging larger muscle groups with lunges, squats and standing core work.

    Power Pump

    A strength training workout emphasizing toning and muscle definition. This 50 minute class targets every major muscle group with the use of an adjustable barbell and dumbbells. Enhance strength endurance and improve muscle tone without bulking up! Featuring easy-to-follow routines set to super motivating music, this power hour proves to be popular for both men and women – and suitable for all fitness levels!

    Power Yoga

      Power Yoga offers an excellent way to tone and strengthen muscles, increase heart rate and burn calories. Challenge yourself, feel great, and prepare to power through the rest of your evening. This class has plenty of instruction for beginners and some optional, more advanced poses such as arm balances and inversions for more challenge.

    Pre/Postnatal Yoga

      Linking yoga postures with the breath will lead you to new discoveries, bringing awareness to the mind, body and spirit.  The program is conducted in a calm, peaceful environment and will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. Classes taken postnatal help women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy.

    Qigong for Health

    This is an on-going class, 2X/wk, open to beginners and experienced participants.

    Qigong is a system of ancient Chinese self-healing exercises that combines proper body alignment and slow, controlled movement that is coordinated with breath and mental focus. Qigong can be viewed as the “mother” of Ti Chi and is easier to learn and perform and even more relaxing to do. If Tai Chi feels too challenging, this is the class for you. Conditions for which there is promising research on the benefits of Qigong include arthritis, balance and range of motion limitations, cardio-respiratory illness, diabetes, chronic pain, compromised immune system, bone and breast health, stress, anxiety, depression and insomnia. This mind-body experience also increases energy, agility, and flexibility, loosens and strengthens joints and muscles, relaxes mind and body, reduces stress, improves concentration, and balances emotions. The exercises are free flowing, slow moving, relaxing and energizing in nature. It is appropriate for all physical conditions. It can be adapted for those restricted to a chair or wheelchair.


    This total body, high-intensity style program, utilizing free weights, resistance and body weight, masterfully combines the components of R.I.P.P.E.D. - Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyomentrics and Endurance - to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective. Regular R.I.P.P.E.D. participants achieve undeniable, ultimate results in minimal time, boasting 750-1000 calories burned in just 50 minutes.

    Restorative Stretching

      This class is essential for rehabbing tired muscles, staving off injuries and loosening up tight muscles that are feeling the impact of our regular exercise routines. It offers full body stretching incorporating yoga postures along with foam rollers, bands, tennis balls, etc. Be ready to relieve and lengthen overworked, achy muscles and leave feeling refreshed and restored. It's a perfect complement to any exercise regimen.


    A 45-minute class geared towards older adults, consisting of low-impact, low-tempo endurance exercises to get you moving along with strength exercises to maintain and improve muscle mass by the use of small weights and resistance bands. The class will work on improving flexibility and balance, ending with stretching. The primary focus of the class is to help seniors maintain and improve their overall wellness in a safe and fun manner. Exercises in this class can be modified for all fitness levels and everyone is invited.

    Sports Conditioning

    This 60 minute class is for the person that loves the intensity from repetitive cardio interval drills mixed with plyometric movement and strength training.

    Step Interval

    Receive a challenging cardio workout with this option that offers you FUN step choreography complete with high intensity interval conditioning. Class design is suitable and adaptable for all fitness levels.

    Strength & Stretch

    Using various forms of equipment, this class offers muscle toning and flexibility training in a warm-water setting.

    Strictly Sculpt

    Work your muscles in every way possible. Class is designed to build strength, add definition, and decrease your body fat by building lean muscle. Use hand weights, tubing, medicine balls, and your own body weight to change your body composition. This class welcomes all fitness levels and modifications will be given.


      Get your week started off right in this full body workout combining cardio and strength moves. Class will move at a quick pace of completing 20 seconds work followed by 10 seconds of rest for a total of 8 rounds of 1 exercise.

    Tai Chi Advanced

      Tai Chi is an ancient practice proven to reduce pain and improve your mental and physical well-being. The Arthritis Foundation Tai Chi Program, developed by Dr. Lam, uses gentle Sun-style Tai Chi routines that are safe, easy to learn, and suitable for every fitness level. Led by Arthritis Foundation-certified instructors.

    Tai Chi Arthritis for Beginners

    This is a 12-week class, 2X/wk, open to beginners, repeated.

    This is a 12-week program created by a medical doctor and a staff of rheumatologists. It is aimed at adults with or without arthritis that have no experience with Tai Chi. It is better than walking or swimming for fall prevention and is recommended by the CDC. A growing number of evidence-based studies demonstrate a wide variety of physical and emotional benefits with regular Tai Chi practice.  It is appropriate for all physical conditions and can be done in a chair.  Classes include warm-ups, stretching, breath work, body alignment, and building a simple sequence of relaxing movements. They are appropriate for beginning adults of all ages and physical conditions.

    Tai Chi Program (Beginner & Advanced Levels)

    Tai Chi is an ancient practice proven to reduce pain and improve your mental and physical well-being.     Total Body

      A simplified and athletic approach to using the step and weights for cardio, strength, and sculpting, with extra emphasis on the buns and core. All levels will get a safe and amazing workout!

    Train Dirty Fitness Dance (TDF)

      Train Dirty Fitness Dance is for all ages, providing a calorie burning workout featuring hip hop, burlesque, belly dancing and functional moves to top radio hits!


    Walking is a safe, fun, easy way to increase stamina, control weight and increase cardiovascular fitness levels. This class will consist of walking progressions with warm-ups, strengthening exercises, and instruction to ensure proper form and technique for pain free walking. Each participant will be in control of their own pace. Come walk with us in a variety of settings, including the studio and gym floor!


    WERQ is the fiercely fun dance fitness workout class based on pop, rock, and hip-hop music taught by certified fitness professionals. The signature WERQ warm-up previews the dance steps used in class and the signature WERQ cool-down includes balance and yoga inspired poses. Are you ready to WERQ?


    Wring out your tension and stress with the total mind/body fitness program. Yoga is a holistic program of exercise, breathing, and relaxation techniques designed to improve or maintain quality of health. All fitness levels are welcome to this class that focuses on balance, posture and flexibility.

    Yoga Motion

      Yoga Motion unites yoga and sport in a refreshing and unique journey. Engage your MIND and BODY using sun salutations, lunges, balance and strength poses, twisting and lengthening poses and more! Get ready for a mind/body experience unlike anything you've seen before. It's time to create a new path in your fitness journey. It's time to transform your body!


    Experience Latin dance cardio training! Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance away their worries. This FUN-packed "easy to do" workout will add inspiring life to your personal cardio routine. Zumba is a "feel happy" workout that is great for both the body and mind! Ditch the workout. Join the party!
